Device Loan Requests/Returns

DEVICE LOAN REQUESTS/RETURNS

In collaboration with CUNY, City Tech is providing devices under the technology loan program. If you are currently registered student and do not have access to a computer or internet, City Tech currently has Chromebooks or iPads and T-Mobile Hotspots that can be loaned to you.

The loan period is the duration of your enrollment at City Tech. You can email any questions regarding the program to StudentHelpDesk@citytech.cuny.edu.

Device Request

If you are currently registered student in need of a device to complete your studies for Spring 2021 semester, click here to request the device.

Device Distribution

If you have requested a device and received the confirmation email, you can follow the pickup details:

Pickup Date(s): January 19, 2021 - January 29, 2021

Pickup Time: 9:00 A.M. — 4:00 P.M.

Location: 300 Jay Street (Namm Building) - Cafeteria Exit on Tech Place

(Please contact the Student Helpdesk for accessibility accommodations)

Note: There will be additional pickup dates available in January 2021.

Please make sure you know your EmplID and bring with you a valid City Tech ID or another form of photo identification.

All students must wear a mask that always covers the nose and mouth and maintain social distance.

Device Return

If you do not plan to continue your enrollment into the Spring 2021, you MUST return the device(s), otherwise an indicator may be placed on your academic records until you do so.

You can drop off the device(s) on the following date(s) and time:

Drop-Off Date(s): January 19, 2021 - January 29, 2021

Drop-Off Time: 9:00 A.M. — 4:00 P.M.

Note: There will be additional drop-off dates available in January 2021.

Please include all original accessories (charger, cables, cases) and remove passwords and/or pin access before you return your device. Remember to save and/or remove any personal files to ensure data security.

City Tech is loaning devices to students in order to support the Fall virtual learning needs. To be eligible to borrow a device, you must be a currently enrolled student.
