Direct Admissions for Fall 2018

Admissions for the Fall 2018 semester is closed. If you are interested in applying for the spring 2019 please go to the CUNY website at www.cuny.edu for the application and information. If you would like to visit City Tech please join us for our Open House on Sunday, October 28 at 11am at 285 Jay Street, Brooklyn, NY.

Fall 2018 direct admission begins on Tuesday, April 17. You should follow the instructions here and apply directly through the College, to avoid confusion and delays. If you meet admission requirements and follow the directions here, we can process your application quickly and painlessly.

It is important to act now, while there is still plenty of time! The first step is to click on the link to the right to open the application. Bring the application and all supporting materials with you when you come to the College. The fall semester starts Monday, August 27.

All freshmen must have a minimum 70 high school average or a minimum score of 270 on the High School Equivalent (HSE/GED) in order to be eligible for admission. Freshmen students must also be able to demonstrate proficiency in either Math or in English through their SAT or NYS regent scores. Please contact the Admissions Office at 718-260-5250 for the specific criteria. Students who do not meet this criteria are urged to apply for the spring 2019 semester as soon as possible at www.cuny.edu.

DEADLINE FOR FALL 2018 ADMISSIONS IS AUGUST 17, 2018

The College will begin accepting direct transfer applications for Fall 2018 on Tuesday, April 17. Applicants must satisfy College admission standards: competency in reading, writing and mathematics and a minimum GPA of 2.0 are required. To initiate the direct transfer admission process, click on the link to the right to open the application. Bring the application and all supporting materials with you when you come to the College.
