Campus and Facilities
The Health and safety our community is of paramount importance. The College is taking every step to create a culture of safety which will help mitigate risks of spreading the COVID-19 virus and instill confidence in coming onto the campus. Activities involving addressing facilities and HVAC, providing communication and building awareness, and implementing policies and procedures to maintain density control are all efforts underway.
Extra attention is being given to keeping all facilities stocked with necessary sanitizers, soaps and other cleaning supplies. The Custodial staff are being scheduled to ensure spaces are kept disinfected and sanitized on a regular basis.
Online "Return to Work Training" via CUNY Blackboard
Per the directive issued by New York State, training is required for all employees who will be in any CUNY office or facility going forward. This includes employees returning to work according to approved plans and employees who were already deemed essential and working on campus.
To facilitate this training, you have been registered for New York State COVID- 19 Response: Return to Work Training, which will be conducted online via CUNY Blackboard. The training is mandatory and must be completed for access on campus.
An in-person screening questionnaire is completed each day you are on campus by a trained Screener at the designated screening entrance. Depending on your answers, you will either be cleared to be on campus, or you will be directed to return home. Kindly note that screening may also include a non-contact temperature check, in accord with the information provided on the on-line training.
