Employee COVID-19 Training

All faculty and staff must take the COVID-19 training available on Blackboard.

Please log into CUNY Blackboard to complete the New York City Tech NYS COVID-19 Response: Return to Work Training course. The course is available under the My Organizations. Blackboard training instructions can be found here.

Those who do not have access to Blackboard please contact Victor Humphrey, Adrianne Traylor, and Sandra Gordon.

Self-Screening

Everyone must complete the Everbridge Symptom Checker self-screening prior to coming into campus buildings. The following methods are available to self-screen:

City Tech affiliate can logon using their CF SSO Login

1. One-Time Setup

  • Step 1: Download and install the Everbridge app from your mobile device app store (iOS/Android).
  • Step 2: Click the "Find an organization or subscription" button on the Everbridge splash page.
  • Step 3: Search for "CUNY" and select the "CUNY — Health Screening" option. (Do not choose "NY Alert — CUNY.")
  • Step 4: Clicking "CUNY — Health Screening" will take you to the CUNY Web Applications Login page. Use your CUNY Login credentials. (Your username is your CUNYfirst username, with "login.cuny.edu" at the end (e.g. Firstname.Lastname##@login.cuny.edu). Your password is the same one you use to log in to CUNYfirst.)
  • Step 5: Set your notification preferences and click the "Done" button.

2. Symptom Checker

  • Step 1: Within the Everbridge app, click the Shield icon in the bottom right corner. If you do not see the Shield icon, restart the app.
  • Step 2: Click the Symptom Checker icon.
  • Step 3: Go through the questionnaire, answer all five questions, and click Submit.
  • Step 4: You will receive a notification of a new message in your Feed within a few minutes.
  • Step 5: Your token will be available to you within your Everbridge Feed. Open and present it to the screener when you are entering your CUNY location.

Instructions for Guests

Before you visit City Tech, make sure you've downloaded and installed the Everbridge App(iOS / Android).

Guests should use the Visitors's Guide for instructions.

Those with CUNY Login Credentials

  • Go to the Everbridge Member Portal: https://member.everbridge.net/509627934441532/login/sso.
  • Login with your CUNY single sign-on credentials.
  • You will see your profile, Subscriptions section, and a Select School dropdown box.
  • After selecting your school, you can opt into email notifications.
  • The emails will begin the next day and arrive early each morning (Monday through Friday) so you can complete the questionnaire before departing for CUNY.

Those without CUNY Credentials (e.g., visitors, non-POI RF employees)

  • Submit a request to Everbridge@citytech.cuny.edu, for the Everbridge Email Option.
  • Please provide your First Name, Last Name and Email Address.
  • You will receive your email option credentials within 48 hours of the request.
  • Once you receive your credentials for the Email Option, use the Member Portal to login using credentials that have been provided to you.

Everbridge Health Screening via Email (PDF Version).

This method should only be used when a visitor is unable to use the Everbridge mobile app and email option. The Kiosk serves as a backup for when a person appears on-site without the capability of screening through the above means.

The individual will be need to answer the Symptom Checker questions on the spot and wait to receive approval to proceed onto campus.

Campus Schedule

Given the necessity of health screening, we have established a schedule for entry into the Academic Complex, Voorhees Hall and Library Building (access to Namm Hall, Pearl Building, and General Building).

The Everbridge mobile app or email method should be used to facilitate entrance into campus buildings. If not, you will be required to use the Self-Screening Kiosk which may delay your entry.

Academic Complex:

Entry is permitted Monday through Saturday.

7am — 10am

  • The symptom checker must be completed via the Self-Screening Kiosk.

10am — 4pm (10pm on Wednesdays)

  • The symptom checker must be completed via Everbridge App or Email Option.

Library Building (Access to Namm Hall, Pearl Building, & General Building)

Entry is permitted Monday through Friday.

7am — 10am

  • The symptom checker must be completed via the Self-Screening Kiosk.

10am — 4pm

  • The symptom checker must be completed via Everbridge App or Email Option.

Voorhees Hall

Entry is permitted Monday through Saturday.

7am — 10am

  • The symptom checker must be completed via the Self-Screening Kiosk.
    • Saturdays: The symptom checker must be completed via the Self-Screening Kiosk at the Library Building entrance on Tillary Street prior to arriving at Voorhees Hall.

10am — 4pm

  • The symptom checker must be completed via Everbridge App or Email Option.
