In order to facilitate a smooth transition to the college community for new students, City Tech's New Student Orientation programming provides opportunities for participants to:
Meet new and continuing students, faculty, and administrators.
Learn about academic requirements.
Be introduced to student life.
Obtain information about campus and university policies and procedures.
Learning Outcomes
As a result of participating in New Student Orientation programming at City Tech, students will be able to:
Articulate the academic requirements for their intended major.
Demonstrate an understanding of community standards and their responsibilities as astudent in a collegiate community.
Demonstrate the ability to use information on student support services and financial services.
Formulate opportunities for engagement in co-curricular activities.
