Student Life & Development

Highlights

Graduates can pre-order their regalia online until March 8, 2020 at jostens.com.

Graduates can schedule an appointment with Continental Studios to get their picture taken.

We are very much hoping to be able to hold this year's honors convocations and commencement ceremony in person, but are committed to following federal, state, and city guidance to keep our college community safe and healthy.

We hope that the social distancing facilitated by the cancellations of large public events and the temporary movement of most New Yorkers to distance working and learning will allow our culminating events to be held as planned. It is still too soon to know if large public events will be cancelled for late May and early June.

In the absence of certainty, we recommend

  • DO order your cap and gown by the deadline
  • DO NOT purchase any non-refundable travel tickets or hotel reservations for family members at this time.
  • DO check back here or at www.cuny.edu/coronavirus for updates by mid April.
