Library Building (L-236)
The mission of the Office of Veterans Support Services is to provide needed assistance for veterans transitioning from the military to the campus and civilian life. The office can assist veterans, military personnel and their dependents Monday through Friday in room A236 of the Atrium Building. The office provides referrals to employment services, housing, food pantries and other veterans service organizations that address veteran specific needs.
Our goal is to make sure that all veterans, military personnel and their dependents attending City Tech are supported and assisted with the highest quality resources available. Robert Timmins, a military veteran, is the current Veterans Support Services Coordinator, contact for veterans and military personnel who understand and relate to veterans and the military experiences.
The Veterans office is located at 300 Jay Street, Room A236, in the Atrium Building. To reach the office please call 718-260-4980 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. The office is open Monday through Friday. The office uses self-less service and integrity in order to assist veterans and military personnel with the best quality of services. The office's goal is to assess, plan, and expedite the required resources for our community of veterans at New York City College of Technology. The transition from the military to a college campus can be difficult for a veteran who has experienced a life-changing event. Through support from peers Veteran Support Services is dedicated to making the transition easier.
